Readiness

The morning verdict: how recovered you are, from last night’s heart and sleep signals measured against your own 30-day baseline.

02

Sleep

The night itself. If your watch already gives you a sleep score, this one shows what shaped it: not just how long you slept, but how deep, how still, and how consistently.

Energy

Starts the day at your Readiness and follows you through it, draining with exertion and recovering with rest, so you can see how much of the morning’s charge is left, and what took it. If you came here looking for a body battery for Apple Watch, this is the score that answers it.

Built for your own pattern

Your baseline

An 84 for you is not an 84 for anyone else. Lepo measures readiness against your own history, not a population average.

Ready on day one

Lepo reads up to 30 days already in Apple Health. If your watch has been recording, your first score is real rather than a placeholder.

Apple Watch Series 6 and later, SE (2nd generation) and later, and Ultra and later — any watch that runs watchOS 26 — paired with an iPhone on iOS 26 or later. See our Apple Watch readiness comparison.

The reason, not just the result

See which sleep and heart signals support or limit your score. Pro adds point impacts and ranks the biggest movers first.

Reasonable questions

Do I need an Apple Watch?

Only for the watch app and complications. The scores read whatever is already in Apple Health, so a Garmin, Oura, Whoop or Polar can feed it as long as its app shares heart and sleep data with Health. What you get depends on the brand: some share resting heart rate and HRV and some do not, and Lepo scores from whichever heart signals arrive. Readings update when the brand’s app syncs to Health, not when the watch records. Support for each brand is still being verified, so if something looks wrong, email and say which device you wear. The Lepo watch app and complications are Apple Watch only.

Is this the same as Apple’s readiness score?

No. Apple announced a native 0–10 readiness score for Series 12 and Ultra 4 on 9 September 2026. It highlights the factors driving the score and updates throughout the day. Lepo is an independent app: it calculates its own 0–100 morning readiness against your personal baseline, with a separate Energy score for the day. Free includes supporting and limiting signals and seven-day history on iPhone and Apple Watch. Pro adds point impacts, impact ranking and baseline comparisons, and extends history to thirty days on iPhone only. Our Apple Watch readiness comparison covers supported watches, the announcement’s availability limits and both approaches.

Do I have to wait while it learns my baseline?

No. Lepo reads up to 30 days of history already in Apple Health, so a real baseline can be ready the first time you open the app.

What does Pro cost, and what do I get without paying?

Free is the complete product: three scores, their reasons, a week of history, complications and the widget. Pro costs $24.99 a year or $2.99 a month — €24.99 and €2.99 in the euro area, with Apple’s local equivalent elsewhere — and the yearly plan starts with a 14-day free trial. The Free and Pro section lists what each side includes.

Does Lepo change anything in Apple Health?

No. Access is read-only, so Lepo cannot add, change, or delete anything in Health. It reads samples and never writes back.

What leaves my device?

No health data. No score, duration, or heart-rate reading is transmitted anywhere. What does leave is usage and diagnostics — which screens get opened, whether a background refresh completed, how stale a cached reading was — tied to a random per-install identifier rather than to you, because there are no accounts. The privacy policy lists every field.

Why can a complication or widget show an old number?

watchOS and iOS control background refresh timing, for complications and Home Screen widgets alike. Lepo always states the reading’s age, and opening the app on either device updates it immediately. More detail is available on the support page.
